Origami Flower Thank You Note
Step 1 - Choose a pretty color piece of origami paper. (Origami paper is made in such a way that it folds beautifully. You could substitute with other craft paper but you will not get the best results with any thing other than origami paper.)
Step 2 - Cut the paper into four equal squares. You will need one square per flower.
Step 3 - Fold the square diagonally down the middle.
Step 4 - Place the triangle with the longest side towards you. Take the bottom right corner and fold it up so that the tip ends up slightly towards the right of the top corner. Do the same with the left corner so that it sits slightly towards the left of the top corner.
Step 5 - Turn the whole piece over and fold in the three bottom tips to round out your tulip.
Now for the stem and leaf:
Step 6 - Fold a green piece of origami paper in half on the diagonal.
Step 7 - Now fold the the two bottom sides so that their edges meet along the center crease. It should look like a kite now.
Step 8 - Fold the same sides again so that the edges meet in the middle along the crease.
Step 9 - Fold the bottom narrow point up about two-thirds from the tip. The bottom tip should now be well above the top tip.
Step 10 - Fold the entire piece at the middle seam. You can adjust the middle piece to get the desired look of a stem and leaves.
Step 11 - Use glue dots to attach the stem, leaves, and flower to the front of a blank card. You now have a lovely handcrafted origami thank you card.

Step 1 - For this type of card, you may want to use a regular sheet of paper, sized 8.5×11. Hold the paper with in vertical view—with the longest length along the sides. Fold the top left corner down so that the top of the paper is now flush along the right side.
Step 2 - Now fold the paper in half. In other words, fold the left side flush with the right side.
Step 3 - Fold the top corner down. You should now have a rectangular shape.
Step 4 - Now take the corner that you just folded down and fold the tip back up to create a triangular shape.
Step 5 - Fold this triangle back down upon itself, as if you are creating another smaller triangle. Then fold it down again, and then once more.
Step 6 - Completely unfold the entire paper. Make fan folds from the creases you created in step 5 beginning with the longest crease. Make sure this longest crease is folded under, the next folded upward, etc.
Step 7 - Now repeat steps 1-3 again. You should now be able to create a fan-like leaf shape from the fan folds you created in step 6. Use glue or tape to hold the fan in place. You can now stamp the front of the card or write a fancy “Thank You” message with calligraphy pens.
